Recording - Done!!

Finally!

It was gonna be a 12 month project, that I was going to record myself,
but on the way plans changed. As they say in the army "Plan early,
plan twice." We've done the recording in 6 months. And instead of
putting out one song a month we're gonna do it the old fashioned way
and put out an album.

Yesterday on the 20th of August we laid down the last keyboards and
backing vocals on the album. The last layers of texture. Without
mixing, the songs are now sounding lush and powerful. My vocal and
guitar performances are the best that have ever been captured, as Dick
Knubbler said in Metalocolaypse the guitar rocks! the bass rocks! the
drums rock! The vocal harmonies take you to another place, Eliots
guitar lines are familiar and eccentric, Lishy's keys are delicate and
clever.

The band sounds amazing, the tracks sound amazing. Next week we will
start final editing and mixing. The 11 tracks that we started with has
been whittled to 10 completed tracks, and the release, for the sake of
balance and a well rounded album will have 9 tracks, and we'll put out
the 10th track separately, and the 11th I will take home and futz with
till I think it's alright.

In the coming months we'll get the band back together and start
rehearsing again, get the artwork together, and prepare for a launch.
